Terms and Conditions

By using the RoomChat website, you are agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions, (referred to as Terms for the rest of this page) expounded on this page. Failure to abide by these Terms will give us cause to impose sanctions on your account which may result in permanent expulsion from our site and services.

General membership is free. Some membership features may cost money, such as administrator or moderator status.

All conversations, or Chats, on this site will stay on the topic of the designated room. You must keep your conversations focused on the chat room topic. For example, if you are in a chat room titled “Education” then your discussion must stay on the topic of education. Moderators and administrators have the right to kick or band you from the chat room or website altogether if you do not stay on topic. (Some chat rooms, such as locked rooms, have open topics and have less restrictive conversational boundaries.)

All of our public chat rooms must remain child friendly (no obscenity, profanity, vulgarity or sexuality). This means that any room that is not password protected must refrain from conversations that are not appropriate for children. The same rule applies if a child enters a room that is password protected.

Other inappropriate usage of our site includes spamming (coming here simply to promote a website or product), harassing other members or promoting illegal activities.
